We are loving these fall days out on the water. Not only can we see the wildlife that spend the summer months here still hanging around, but we are also starting to see a return of the wildlife that will spend the winter months in these waters. Leaving the dock at the start of a trip is not only normal for the shoulder season, but for peak season as well. With no whales tagged in these waters, everything is found on visual sight. On our first Osprey trip of the season and the sunniest day of the week, we decided to head south in an effort to see some orcas down by Victoria, B.C. What a beautiful day out on the water!

This day was absolutely wonderful.

Captain Brian, Naturalist Alexandria and I booked it off the dock in our nice big vessel and headed out towards adventure. We cruised between Islands and northeast until we reached Peavine Pass. Slowly, we enjoyed the narrow channel and emerged into the Rosario Strait.
